if I were going to start having panic attacks again in the month of february
- buy a vibrator
- 4-7-8 breathing - in 4, hold 7, out 8
- you're gonna think you have every illness under the sun, you're just anxious as fuck and your amygdala is really not happy w you
- don't do anything just play video games and eat good food
- but don't isolate yourself see friends and enjoy things
- allow yourself to not feel fomo, you don't have to enjoy things all of the time, we all have days, weekends, weeks.
- cry as much as humanly possible, and yawn and scream and externalise - you owe it to yourself to experience the emotions
- don't have any more caffeine for your own sake, also no alcohol!
- you're gonna feel ill, you're gonna feel like you can't eat anything - eat something, use buscopan or antacids, the gut brain connection means your cortisol will fuck up your digestion
- listen to so much music - but then don't be afraid to just let everything shut the fuck up for a minute
- enjoy movies and YouTube video essays - you're gonna get really into cruise ship reviews okay and that's gonna be your comfort
- find solace in podcasts
- don't think you're dying like I already mentioned, you have health anxiety and you're gonna think everything is the worst terminal illness you can conjure up in that moment.
- go and do new things, don't anticipate anxiety, welcome it - it will happen so treat it like an old friend
- it's not going to be easy but it's gonna teach you a thing or two about your own body and how to take care of it
good luck
